Brief Autobiography: Gillian McAfee

     My name is Gillian McAfee and I am fourteen years old, living in Willow Glen. I have always lived in Willow Glen, in the same house, with my parents and older sister. Almost all of my family lives in California, so this is pretty much all I have ever known.


     I have never been much of a gardener, but I always plant pumpkins for Halloween. I enjoy helping my close family friends in there gardens and tending to there plants. Our backyard is quite small, and my father is quite particular about how we use the the small space, so I can't do much at home. I also enjoy taking the plants myself or friends have grown and cooking and preparing them into dishes. Nothing tastes better than freshly grown vegetables or fruits. I hope this year to gain more gardening experience and learn more about tending and taking care of plants.
